Q: “Can you design me a wind shield for my shotgun, or shotgun-style microphone?”
A: Not at this time, sorry. Shotgun mics have a much more difficult-to-shield configuration, and all attempts to create them using current construction techniques have thus-far been unsuccessful.
Q: “Can you make me a bright pink, or other colour windshield?”
A: Due to the new weekend-only hours the business now operates on, I am not processing orders for custom windshields at this time, sorry.
Q: “Can you make a windshield for my… (your microphone model here) ?”
A: Due to the new weekend-only hours the business operates on, I am not processing orders for custom fit windshields at this time, sorry.
Q: “Why are you now only open at weekends?”
A: It’s about personal choice. This entire business is a one-man operation. I found the 7-days a week running of the business was taking away my ability to do the other things in life that I feel are important, like spending time with family and getting outside in nature.
I appreciate this is not the “normal” business model, and is only an experiment at this stage.
